10 Years of Shakopee CAPS Internships

We’re proud to have participated in the Shakopee High School CAPS Program since its launch in 2015, helping students gain real-world experience and explore career paths in the construction industry.

This year, we were excited to host Rachel and Trey as interns in the roles of Project Assistant/Project Estimator. Under the guidance of their mentor Hailey Schwieger, they visited jobsites, reviewed plans, learned the estimating and bidding process, explored schedule creation, and more!

Programs like CAPS are an incredible way to build future talent, foster curiosity, and give students hands-on exposure to the world of work. A big thank you to Hailey and everyone at Greystone who helped make this a meaningful experience.
